At a time when most Americans are exhausted by division and hungry for something better, TheCommonHeart exists to spark a national movement rooted in love, respect, and the belief that every human life is precious.

We choose something better: None of the Above when the choices in front of us are toxic or destructive.
Our goal is simple: Unify Americans around a positive vision and identify leaders for the 2026 Midterm Elections who will look every citizen in the eye and say, “I SEE YOU.” It’s about giving this blogger’s version of the American Majority a reason to come out and vote in November for a positive change.
TheCommonHeart understands that in today’s political environment MAGA Republicans need to be included in the conversation. But when it comes to a positive vision, change requires that Democrats gain control of the U.S. Senate and U.S. House of Representatives in the upcoming midterms. Despite redistricting in various states and Republicans endorsed by President Trump, I believe backed by my version of the American Majority, Democrats can exceed expectations.
Who is this guy Dan Nowak?
Nowak is a forward-thinking journalist who has been a reporter for 45 years, worked in public relations, had a radio talk show and podcast. Before journalism was an acting apprentice at Williamstown Summer Theater in 1975 and acted on stage that summer with people like Christopher Walken, Blythe Danner, Olympia Dukakis, Louis Zorich, Ken Howard, Frank Langella and Robert Picardo.
Nowak’s goal is to deliver visionary insights that empower audiences to influence the future. It’s more than just about love conquering hate when it comes to lowering political polarization and decreasing tension. TheCommonHeart is also about promoting empathy, addressing underlying systemic grievances — structural, economic or social injustices — that fuel despair and anger. It’s about encouraging open-mindedness and reflective listening rather than trying to covert others to a specific way of thinking.
